Cherie Nash

Cherie began knitting a few years back from a desire to challenge herself to learn something new. Knitting led to the exploration of fibers and to spinning yarn. She attended the National Western Stock Show in Denver, CO a few years ago and the world of alpacas found a new supporter. She truly adores these peaceful animals and have met Llamas, rabbits, yaks and various sheep breeds the last few years.

She has definitely become a fiber addict and loves both animal and plant fibers alike. In 2012, she purchased a Navajo spindle and Russian spindle. She is now learning how to spin yarn for weavers and create cobweb lace weight yarn. Spinning yarn is a wonderful journey she hopes to share with many others.

This was a fun, informative class for those interested in fiber arts. The instruction was excellent and the price included a spindle that I got to keep.

    From Teacher:

I'm so glad you enjoyed yourself. You made some great yarn!
