Darcie
Darcie was born and raised in a small town in central Illinois. She then began attending college and received her Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Technologies. While IT is a definite passion of Darcie's, she has found over the years that baking is her number one hobby.
Darcie began baking at a young age - she recalls learning to bake around the age of twelve. Since then, she's spent nearly fourteen years learning to bake via trial and error. In the past year or so, Darcie has started her own small business - Darcie Bakes - to pursue her baking passions when she's not working her full-time IT job. In addition, she runs her own food blog (also titled "Darcie Bakes") when she has spare time.
Darcie's hobbies aside from baking and blogging include dabbling in photography (though it's not one of her strong suits), cooking, crafts, any artsy or creative endeavors, reading, exploring STL, and trying new foods (she's a huge foodie!), etc.

Nancy H.Reviewed on 02/15/16Darcie was most excellent. She was prepared , cupcakes were delicious, techniques were demonstrated & icing was yummy. The only drawback was the setting: lighting was poor, tables were inadequate, & the music in the background was very loud & interfered with hearing Darcie's instructions.
