Georg Hill is founder and president of Georg Hill Artist Management.
Georg has over fifteen years experience working in the field of entertainment through tour management and artist management. Georg was one of three Operations Managers to Legendary Song Stylist Nancy Wilson. In this role Georg traveled extensively with Ms. Wilson and provided administrative support as well as specialized skills as required by Ms. Wilson. The time on the road with Ms. Wilson became invaluable in Georg's understanding of the buisness of , " show".
Georg's association with Ms. Wilson also gained him access to one of the greatest managers in the music business, Mr. John Levy. Georg was mentored on many aspects of the business by Mr. Levy. The list of clients that John Levy represented was the who's who of some of the greatest Jazz musicians that ever graced the stage, from Sarah Vaughn, Carmen McRae, Joe Williams, Shirley Horn , Nancy Wilson, Clairdee, Ramsey Lewis and a host of other musicians.
Georg Hill Artist Management is responsible for the guidance of the careers of clients primarily in the Jazz genre and in addition to artists who closely associate with the American Songbook.
In 2013, Georg Hill Artist Management successfully partnered with Michael Feinstein and presented Clairdee as their Artist in Residency for Feinstein's at the Nikko in San Francisco. The partnership created tremendous buzz in the cabaret world and earned Clairdee and Feinstein's rave reviews in Broadway and Jazz circles.
Currently Georg Hill Artist Management is working on several projects. One project of special interest is a speaker series that focuses on Legendary Song Stylist Nancy Wilson. The series called , "Naturally Nancy" takes an in depth look at Nancy Wilson's musical legacy that ranges from the 1950's to now.
