For the past 9 years, I have been supporting students who are seeking a degree in psychology become better writers. I see myself as a coach who is there to help students unlock their creativity through encouragement, tutoring, and overcoming their blocks, doubts, and frustrations that inevitably show up during writing. During this time, I have come to see writing as a way to heal parts of ourselves that linger deep within us. Writing inevitably unlocks the deepest parts of ourselves and speaking to this place allows us to get to know who we truly are deep down, allowing ourselves to forge a deeper relationship with ourselves. I aim to bring this deep understanding to many others, who can benefit from this healing art.
