Jen Cleary is a born dancer. Curious about the power of movement to provide healing, connection and endless amounts of joy, she's a huge fan of moving meditations and spontaneous dance parties. A self-proclaimed "career-junkie", Jen has been down many professional paths, but her favorites are those that include teaching, wellness, and being her own boss. Obsessed with learning, she always has a tall stack of books on her nightstand, and is especially attracted to any title that inspires or empowers.

This was an interesting class that helped me to step out of my daily norm. I'd recommend it to someone who is looking to do just that.!

I was first drawn to this class by it's description. I identified with negative thinking and wanting to get out of my head with movement. From the description I thought there would be more guided dance, but you are free to move as much or as little as you want and make up your own moves. The beginning of class starts with journaling to get the stuff that's in your head out. From then you move onto relaxing meditation and from there is where you can move into movement. After the movement/dancing section it is back to journaling and closing the session. The instructor is nice, personable, and welcoming.
