Was great to have the opportunity to have hands-on experience and brainstorming with a group of creatives with different backgrounds. Overall, a terrific exercise in ideation and rapid prototyping individually and as a team.

This class was excellent. The pace was great the teacher was clear, helpful and inspiring. I will definitely use the techniques I learned in this class.

The EffectiveUI staff and the experience were terrific! We reviewed the principles of design thinking and were then guided through a completely hands-on experience of the process. In the words of Benjamin Franklin, "Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn." This class is a bargain at $40 and an enjoyable way to spend a Saturday!

I had a great time, and the pace of class was great. We spent time in areas that other classes simply cut out and stress "this is important", which really set up the value for me in the 2nd half of the class. Beth and her team were very present and ready to engage to help answer questions and guide you back to the lesson of 'Design Thinking". The interaction with the other participants was great, as we all built off of each other's experiences.

Overall, great. The presentation and lab matched what the expectations were in the class description. The instructor was very knowledgeable and experienced in the subject yet chill enough to make it feel less formal. The facility did not clearly mark the location of the class though causing late arrivals.

Michael Salamon is a very dynamic and energizing speaker. He is undoubtably an expert and conveys a contagious passion about all things UX from research to design. Not to mention he handed out the coolest notepads!
