Julie Benesh
Julie Benesh PhD, MFA is a fiction writer and professor of organizational leadership. Her short fiction has garnered many awards, including an Illinois Arts Council grant, was nominated for a Pushcart Prize, and anthologized in Bestial Noise: A Tin House Fiction Reader. She was Assistant Editor of Night Train, a short fiction journal, and on the Editorial Board of Seasonings, a journal of organization development practice. She blogs frequently on LinkedIn and has taught creative writing at the Newberry Library for many years. Julie is also Program Chair of the Organization Development Network-Chicago.

Before, this class, I was almost for certain that a great/good writer just had words flowing out them. I learned that writing is a development process. I need to practice and practice.
