I have enjoyed the class with Kandy. It's a very basic introduction to interior design but some of the tips/concepts are useful to know. At the end of the course, Kandy looks through the spaces that were submitted by attendees and gives them some suggestions. I found this portion to be pretty helpful! After the course, she also sends a list of resources that can help you to further your education/knowledge of interior design. Overall, a very good experience but I would recommend this course only for beginners.

This class was so helpful. Before this class, I felt design challenged, but the teacher was really approachable and gave awesome, concrete suggestions.

I came in with so many questions as to make my rental apartment more appealing and hone-y. The teacher was incredibly friendly and non-judgemental. Make sure to take pictures of your space! You can ask her questions and I found that to be helpful to apply the concepts we learned about.

A really nice introduction to some theories around interior design that seemed approachable and fun to experiment with. I also liked that we got to look over photos of our own homes to get some ideas for those spaces. The group had a nice dynamic and I think was able to share a lot of thoughtful and good ideas!

Great experience. Helpful tips. Insider secrets revealed! Kandy has a true talent. She can look at a space and know exactly what you need to do to fix it. She had excellent ideas for everyone's problem rooms. She's a wealth of knowledge. My only regret was that she didn't offer a series of classes or a 4-week course. I'd love to come back and learn more!

Great review to basic design principles! I enjoyed the interactions between the teacher and students. We willing shared our thoughts with each other as we reviewed our rooms. Left feeling inspired to finish designing my home.

Great class. Kandy presented a great overview of general design ideas and concepts as well as providing specific ideas on your own personal living space, which I found very helpful. She also provided an expansive list of other resources for getting help with design ideas/stores for unique items. The class was definitely worth my time and money, and I would certainly recommend it to anyone who struggles with interior design (like me) or who just wants a different perspective on design ideas.

I got exactly what i wanted from this class which was some good advice on what to do with my space at home. The instructor gave a basic lesson on interior design which was very helpful, but my favorite part of the class was when she displayed the pictures of the spaces of the students there and gave feedback and ideas on what do to with the space. I've already put up curtain rods in my living room and bedroom and will be sewing my own curtains soon. I'm also rearranging my space as well. I feel like my eyes were opened to fresh ideas.

Kandy was really great! I enjoyed her presentation and that she was able to give everyone in the class great suggestions on their current design project. I really liked that she gave us information on where to find great antiques and linked us to a design support group. Definitely a great class! I highly recommend it!!

We really enjoyed this class! Kandy was very organized and gave a great presentation, which offered a lot of inspiration. We especially appreciated the overview of different decorating styles, which gave us an idea of what to search for as we're looking for new pieces. Each person got to bring photos of one room they needed help with. The specific suggestions from both Kandy and others in the class were very helpful.

Kandy was great. She engaged the class, and had a lot of insight into various styles and ways to combine items with style and balance. She even took the time after class to email me a thoughtful note with further ideas and places to get inspiration for how to resolve some of the design challenges in my own home. Highly recommended!

Awesome class. Awesome instructor. I didn't know what to expect from this class but left feeling inspired and ready to get my creative juices flowing. Kandy is funny, knowledgable, and helped me see the beauty in places and I would've never thought to look. I highly recommend this class for anyone who has an interest in interior design or just needs some guidance on a specific room in their home.

Kandy was obviously VERY knowledgeable and had great suggestions. It was terrific that she suggests you bring items you want to work on so the advice was very personalized and specific rather than broad generalizations. And I learned from the other classmates projects as well. Highly recommended!

Kandy had wonderful tips and insight to share on interior design. I came away from the class thinking about my style aesthetic and excited to make changes to my apartment space.

This was exactly what I hoped it would be. It was a great way to get some guidelines, resources, and ideas. Not just ideas on exactly what to do - but ideas on how to generate decisions. Wonderful class!

I had such a great time and learned a lot of tips/tricks from Kandy. She offered her expert advice, and it was tailored to each student's personal style. I liked how we got to bring in pictures of our own space(s) and she consulted with us on ways to improve the physical space. I would definitely recommend this class to a friend.

This class was amazing. I learned SO much. Kandy is a wonderful teacher and explains things so well. She's patient and REALLY knows her stuff. Not only did I walk away with some new skills, but I also walked away more confident about tackling projects and got some ideas for new ones. I also got to meet some really great women! Don't hesitate! TAKE THIS CLASS!

This class is great if you have a few (or more than that) hanging out in your closet for that ONE DAY you will fix, this will give you the tools & confidence to do it!

The Teacher was very knowledgable and passionate about her subject. She made each project seem so easy and doable. She took away fear of making a mistake or messing up something and gave ideas which some of us hadn't thought about!

Class was really good, I finally learned how to sew a button properly for my more heavy duty coats that get a lot of wear and tear. I also showed the teacher a more complicated skirt that I wanted to add embellishment to and she told me step by step how to do it. I'm hoping to continue my learning with the teacher through private lessons, she was a good teacher and really receptive to continued learning.

I have to be honest, this is the first Dabble class out of the 5 I've taken that I have not feel like I got my money's worth. I have not been able to find any credentials about Kandy that indicate she has any interior design experience besides a love of crafting. She was unable to define the styles she was talking about ("traditional," "mid-century modern," or "modern") and had no solid suggestions for figuring out what your preferred style is besides, "decorate with what you love." This is a 101 level class, the point is to help me figure it out! I am unsure why this class has 100% positive reviews.

A bit overpriced for being fairly basic. I don't feel that I learned anything new. Nice that you can bring a photo of your home to discuss but with so many people in the class, there isn't much time to spend on each one. If the class was less expensive, say $15 instead of $25, I would feel a bit better about the class.
