Starting at a young age taking breakdance, jazz, and African classes at a local studio in Oak Park, Keeley found a love for telling a story through performance. Having the pleasure at a young age to touch stage at a lot of local events and live stage shows such as the House of Blues, Lollapalooza, Regal Theatre, Taste of Chicago, and the Hard Rock Hotel, Keeley continued her growth as a dancer taking classes with working professionals both at Columbia College and throughout the Chicago area. She credits most of her growth in performance at an industry level to mentors Jason Laws and Pedro Mercado, artistic director of JiggNation dance group.
Keeley has gotten to make her mark in the entertainment industry on stage, television, commercial, and film projects recently including director Lee Daniel’s “Empire”. She has danced with both local and well-known artists like Jennifer Hudson and Jessica Sutta. She also performed with Beyoncé at the 2011 billboard awards and at Oprah Winfrey's farewell show at the United Center. She's gotten to work closely with Choreographer Fatima Robinson, landing a role alongside artist Goapele in the remake of the movie "Sparkle". Keeley has also appeared in national commercials for Facebook, T-Mobile, Ford and Marshall's as well.
Still working hard on her craft as an overall performer, Keeley is continuing to develop her artistry in other areas like teaching and creative direction. She is currently a member and co creative director of a local dance troupe called The Wall Flowers, A Chicago-based multidisciplinary dance and
Entertainment ensemble. She also teaches hip-hop dance to kids and fitness to adults at Creative Motion Chicago. The thing that she values the most is to be able to not only learn but to share her passion with others, telling a story through art is something she takes pride in the most.
