Hi! I'm Kestrel Montes, owner and calligrapher of inkmethis. I am a professional calligrapher located in the beautiful wine country of the California Bay Area. I am formally trained in pointed pen calligraphy. With a bachelor's degree in language and a master's degree in education, teaching calligraphy has become a blend of my passions and experience. I also make custom stamps, design digital fonts, and create products for calligraphers including handmade pens, desk blotters and ink stirrers. My styles range from formal Copperplate to playful or edgy modern calligraphy. I love teaching this versatile art to people interested in a new hobby, gearing up to use calligraphy for their own special event or hoping to make a business out of lettering.
