I purchased this class for my mom as part of her retirement gift. We both really enjoyed the class!

Great experience! We learned the benefits of healthy clean vegan cooking and about Indian spices. Some of the dishes were pretty labor intense! Kirti is an amazing chef and teacher and loves sharing her passion with others. At the end of class you get to sample the food. The class did go over in time so plan accordingly. I'm looking forward to taking another class of hers.

All I can say is WOW! This was my first ever Dabble class and I was absolutely blown away by the experience. Kirti was just fabulous! She's the real deal! She taught us so many of her "secrets" learned from years of cooking her delicious food at her family restaurant Arya Bhavan. Oh and by the way, everything is vegan (yes!), fresh, organic and gluten-free - and absolutely delicious. I cannot wait to test out my new authentic Indian recipes equipped with the knowledge Kirti gave us.
Oh and I left completely stuffed too! To start off our morning Kirti gave us steaming hot & spicy bowls of "upma", a traditional Indian breakfast of cream of wheat and various spices. Warm and spicy it was the perfect start to the day. We got to sample freshly made garlic naan, biryani, chana masala & chocolate truffles while Kirti gave us detailed instructions on how to make everything. Like I said... wow!
Thank you Kirti & Dabble for providing this exceptional experience. I will be back to Arya Bhavan for their fresh, healthy, vegan (!) authentic Indian fare and can't wait to cook some myself.

I agree with the previous review that this was more of a cooking demonstration than a class. Though we were able to sample the food that was prepared (which was delicious), I felt the class was overcrowded and overpriced (at $50) for watching the instructor prepare the dish for the majority of the time (she did encourage people to come up front and help her stir the pot, but with nearly 30 people in the class and the layout of the space it was difficult for anyone but the people sitting up front to get there). We did get an opportunity to fry our own dosa (after she prepared the batter), but again with 30 people and one skillet, there was a lot of waiting and downtime. As for the instructor, I have nothing bad to say about her. She was very positive and upbeat and friendly and definitely knows what she's doing in the kitchen- I just wish the class was formatted in a way where people got to get a more hands on experience of making the dishes.
Hi Dhaea,
Thank you very much for your feedback. I'm sorry that you had a less than ideal experience at the class. Your comments are very valuable and I will take them into account as I try to figure out ways to improve the classes and make them a more enjoyable and effective learning experience for all.

This was more of a cooking demonstration than class and thought it was too expensive for what it was. Recipes cooked were very simple.

The instructor was very nice. She answered all of our questions and was very experienced and shared lots of good tips.
However, the environment of the class, organization, and preparation can use improvement.
