Laura has been sewing her entire life. Mostly taught by her mother, Laura continued to look for ways to improve her skills by attending classes and workshops taught by many nationally known instructors. It was clear that Islander Sewing Systems offered the most efficient, as well as producing the most professionally looking garments. Laura has been teaching in own studio for several years, and was a guest on the PBS sewing series, Sew It All (episode 908)
