ABOUT THIS TEACHER

I have been taking pictures for as long as I can remember. But I started getting more serious about it about 7 years ago when I finally upgraded to a DSLR camera, took some photography classes to learn how to fully use it, and practiced/continued learning while photographing the beautiful city of Chicago in all kinds of weather. I made the leap from photography as a hobby to photography as a profession about 3 years ago. I love taking cityscape and landscape photos and have taken many around Chicago. I also take a lot of pictures of people, as my family members know all too well. I have also professionally photographed products and events.

I have informally been teaching the basics of cameras/photography as I've been out and about in Chicago. I enjoy seeing the joy of something learning something they didn't know about their camera and moving beyond Auto mode to take great photos.
