Our tour guide, Margaret Hicks, was very knowledgeable with great background information regarding the history of the pedway. She made the tour extremely enjoyable by adding a bit of her improvisational style.

Loved Margaret. Not only was she knowledgable but she was fun and entertaining. She made learning fun even in 90 degree weather. Highly recommend!

Our tour guide Margaret was so great. Not only was she very knowledgeable, but she was also hilarious. This made for a very entertaining tour. I was especially impressed with Margaret's research as it was evident that she had contacted many of the businesses/owners along our pedway route. I am definitely interested in taking her weekday Pedway tour since it takes us through another part of the Pedway.

This was delightful. As someone that lives in Chicago and has used parts of the pedway before (often finding it by accident), I loved see the connections and disconnections in its making. I learned a ton and had so much fun! Who knew that there was a museum in the pedway? And how could I not be excited about knowing a back route to the ice skating rink in the winter? Our tour guide knew a lot about Chicago history, the architecture of the buildings we crisscrossed, and everything you could access via the pedway. She IS rad! It's a quirky and fun way to spend a few hours getting to know your city better and how to avoid getting caught in the crowds and rain. I recommend it!

Margaret was super enthusiastic. If you want to learn about the Pedway system from its #1 fan, this is for you! I imagine this tour has a much different feel during the weekdays, since the Pedway is largely used by commuters and is eerily empty for a weekend tour.

My friend and I wanted to do something fun and stumbled upon this tour and we had a great time. Margaret is an amazing and funny guide.
