Michelle Shea Walker

Michelle Shea Walker has been described as "more than a health coach...someone you want to sit in with on a Friday night and boy-bash, but in a healthy way."

Since receiving her certification in holistic health coaching from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in 2012, Michelle has helped women around the country tap into their own healthy beauty through her unique knowledge of plant-based nutrition, allergy-light living, and holistic self-care practices. Preferring the title of happiness enabler, Michelle's coaching goes beyond food into the deeper nourishment of the soul, with therapy-like sessions, personalized meditations, and self-empowering manifestation exercises.

In compliment to her coaching, Michelle is a Yoga Alliance registered yoga instructor known amongst students for her self-love inspired smile savasanas. As a Reiki Master Healer & Teacher, Michelle enjoys giving students a small taste of her chakra balancing treatments during classroom assists. Her weekly teaching schedule includes beginner, intermediate, advanced, and restorative classes at Chicago's CorePower Yoga studios plus the occasional private session for individuals who prefer to learn one-on-one at home. In February of 2015, Michelle spent four amazing weeks as a special guest instructor at Costa Rica's Rancho Margot, teaching guests of the resort in an open air rainforest studio.

Michelle is also a top-rated teacher on Dabble, an Amazon best-selling author, and a popular YouTube vlogger with her weekly happiness vlogs. She currently serves as a brand ambassador for SuperLoveTees.

    Michelle is lovely and the class was very relaxing. She walked us through specific aspects of how to both feel and call in something we currently desire, then create mantra about it that we can continue to focus on. A wonderful experience!

    I enjoyed Michelle's Manifestation Friday Night session. Michelle created a really positive and welcoming atmosphere and had us explore our own manifestation, which was interesting and thought provoking. I also liked the small class size, which made the atmosphere intimate and safe and made it easy to find something in common with others' situations while they're exploring and working on their manifestation with Michelle. I started using some ideas that Michelle mentioned to start my day positively. Thank you very much, Michelle!

    Have you ever needed to reframe how you think about things? This is the perfect workshop for you. Michelle helps you adopt a more positive view. I'm definitely going back! Edit: I did go back and will be back again! This class is great for an emotional boost!

    I have attended a few Manifestation Friday Night sessions and have found them to be very helpful. Michelle creates a welcoming, positive environment that allows participants to share and explore the idea of manifestation in ways that are uniquely beneficial to each individual. The sessions have contributed to my development of an overall more positive mindset.

    This was a great class in a small setting and very personalized. If you have an open mind and are considering this class you should definitely sign up! I enjoyed learning more about manifestation and look forward to practicing this in my life. I felt very comfortable sharing my personal situation however you can choose to be as open as you'd like.

    This was a great class! I learned a lot in a short period of time and had a lot of great tips to take home and start using RIGHT away.

    The examples of alternative sweeteners were helpful. Especially having them there to look at so I know what to look for at the store. I was a bit late due to traffic, so maybe this was covered before I arrived, but I didn't get a sense of urgency as to why sugar is so horrible or toxic. I heard a little of why the artificial sweeteners were bad, but nothing that inspired me to give up sugar completely.

    So I think this was a good class to get some good tips on what to do to "look good naked" and to just look good/live well in general. The food suggestions and recipe suggestions were definitely doable. You could tell Michelle was really knowledgeable on the subject of food and nutrition because if a difficult question got asked she was able to answer easily and concisely. Definitely recommend this class for some great info!

    Sampled some great-tasting desserts made with natural sweeteners...which made me want to try to swap out sugar for better alternatives. Really encouraged by the helpful and upbeat class to aim for reducing sugar in my diet.

    The class offered a lot of great ideas on how to satisfy your sugar cravings by using different sweeteners like stevia and coconut sugar. The sample desserts were delicious. I'm excited to start trying out some of the Recipies on my own.
