ABOUT THIS TEACHER

“I have very diverse interests and was particularly drawn to sculpture by the pleasure of being totally absorbed in the process of creating it. Early on, I realized that understanding the methods and processes of making things held the key to expanding my own personal expressions. I have a great deal of respect for artists that are able to push the envelope of their medium to the point making something that involves the viewer and evokes an emotion. While I consider myself a “maker” I do not consider myself an artist in the sense that my work brings forth anything more than an indulgence for myself to learn and explore the processes involved. That exploration, that continual learning is at the heart of my own life long quest to expand and grow.
As much as I love making things, I also enjoy sharing the methods and techniques that I’ve learned along the way. I hope you’ll join me, and it is my wish that what I’m able to share propels you on your way as well.”
