Meet Designer and Instructor Ms. Khalilah
Khalilah has over 25 years of fashion sewing and design experience. Both self-taught and formally trained Khalilah discovered her love for fashion at the early age of 5. She loved making clothes for her Barbie dolls by hand. By age 7 she was sewing on a sewing machine not just for Barbie but herself as well. As she grew her love for fashion design grew.
Over the years Khalilah has traveled and attended many schools to gain as much knowledge about her craft as she could. She has a Master's degree in both Fashion Design and Fashion Marketing.
She has worked many fashion and traded show both headlining and behind the scenes. If it had something to do with fashion she was there.
Now, she is always at work creating and designing custom designs for women, men and children. She takes pride in her one of a kind wedding and evening gown as she does 45% of each gown by hand. She has mastered the art of fashion design and couture and now would like to share her love and passion with the next generation.
