Loved that we were given opportunity to play around, experiment, mess up, and try again. It was also great that we're able to keep our finished product. I think it would have been more efficient and we would have learned more if there were two instructors, as David seemed a little stretched thin working both rooms and helping all of us, but he was super helpful and patient, so it was overall a great experience!

Great fun, the wheelthrowing was quite a soothing activity to learn. Managed to make 2 bowls, and I'm considering doing more classes at the studio! Dave was a great teacher.

The instructor did a really good job of breaking down something that generally takes multiple sessions to learn. His method of teaching was very slow and concise, and there was still plenty of time for all of us to experiment at the wheel. There were a lot of people in the class and sometimes we had to wait for assistance if we couldn't remember the next step, but I spent this time observing him and what others were doing as part of the overall learning experience. It was also a fun group of nice people. This is definitely a great way to try it out so you know if you are interested in taking a series of classes.
