I loved this class. I have made a number of batches of soap since this class. The information was useful, adaptable and practical. Truly worth it.

Instructor made us feel at home. Immaculate environment. 2 hours breezed by and walked out jam packed with knowledge.

My friend and I had so much fun learning how to make cold-processed soap!! Patty was an amazing teacher and taught us so much!! She also gave us a detailed packet of valuable information on everything soap related!! I loved the class and would definitely take any additional classes offered by her!!

A friend and I went to the soap making class on a whim and we really enjoyed it! Now I have six bars of amazing soap that I made myself. It looks good, it smells good and I feel like I'm some kind of craft hero. The workshop was informative and I do feel like I could make soap at home now with the helpful handouts. It's a fun time!

This was a great class. Patty did a great job covering the fundamentals and presented an array of options for canning from syrup to a chutney. There is also a great library to draw from and Patty is obviously very well versed with many of the authors and their strengths and weaknesses. The class was hands on and Patty included some drinks and spreads using canned products. It is remarkable how versatile this tool is. We also enjoyed the fact that we got to experience two different canning methods. Highly recommend Patty and this course!

The class was certainly fun and informative. My soap smells nice and is making my apartment smell terrific actually. It's still curing and will be a couple more weeks before I can use it, but I'm feeling very positive about it's potential to be great soap.

This is a FABULOUS class. Well taught, well paced, and such a soothing and tactile craft. Everybody got felted soaps for Christmas this year and they pretty much freaked with glee. A great value for the price and a craft that is easy and cheap to repeat at home once you know what you're doing! PLUS! You get wonderful homemade soap to take home, too.

Patty and her husband were wonderful hosts. Their location was easy to find. The set-up inside was great for soap felting. Each person had more than enough room and supplies. The project instructions were clear and easy to follow. They even provided treats! I would definitely recommend this class and look foward to taking another class with them.

Felting has been on my to do list for quite a while. This class was a perfect introduction and the soap smells AMAZING!!!

What a great way to spend a fun afternoon with your girls! The instructor welcomes us into her home and was very knowledgeable about the soap making process. In addition to providing detailed instructions, she gave us multiple options regarding scents/colors when making our soap. Our final product turned out great!

This was my first class and I loved it. The teacher was very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. I have been wanting to learn to make soap for a long time and the teacher made the process simple and manageable. I can't wait to start making at home.

Patty provided detailed hands-on instruction that helped me feel confident in making soap on my own. The class size was small and allowed for all of my questions to be answered. I look forward to taking other classes with her.

What a great class! I learned a lot about Pressure Canning, and Patty answered all of our questions, about water-bath canning as well. Looking forward to taking additional classes with Patty. If you have the opportunity to take one of her classes, please do!

The Class was excellent, informative and interesting. We were allowed to ask questions and time was taken to explain the steps that we thought confusing.

I was nervous about making the jump from melt & pour soap to cold process. It was great to have someone walk me through the steps the first time. And answer all the questions I had. I feel confident enough to try it on my own now. Thanks for offering this class.

I really enjoyed this class. I got just enough guidance throughout the process to answer any questions I had, and a ton of resources so I can learn myself going forward. Patty was super knowledgeable and very credible - even when she said she didn't have direct experience with something (like the way a particular fragrance would interact with the soap), she told us what to look for, so I felt comfortable continuing. All-in-all, she definitely took the fear out of soapmaking, and I think it's something I can do on my own now. Thanks!

This intro to canning workshop was really great. The class was well organized and thorough. We got a very good handout with instructions and recipes but also had plenty of hands-on opportunities to participate and try things out. And, best of all, we came away with a variety of yummy things. Patty's a lot of fun to hang out with, too. I highly recommend this class!

Patty was great! She shared a techniques, answered questions, offered her advice and taught us how to can 3 different things. We took home samples of all three plus made some vinagrette using jam. She was prepared, thorough, friendly and informative. So glad I took this class...I can't wait to try my hand at jam making!

Great class and delicious snacks! I learned a lot and had a great time. The teacher was really patient and had an incredible array of choices for us to customize our own soap. Plus we ended up with a decent size box of our own soap. I think I could make my own soap on my own now but I would also take the class again for fun.

Thorough and detailed, everything you would want from a class called Canning 101. We made strawberries four ways and left with a lot of food to try. I left pumped and ready to take my skill from beyond a "dabble" to a real practice. Patty is a great teacher and ready to help with all your questions.

This was a fantastic class. Patty is great teacher - encouraging hands-on participation so you can actually do the whole process of prepping and processing. She is knowledgable and approachable and answered so many questions throughout the afternoon. In addition, there were delicious snacks and I really appreciated that Patty provided us with instructions to take home so that we could easily do this again at our own home. I highly recommend this class!

The class was very informative and fun. She was very gracious and even had beverages and tasty muffins. I really enjoyed it and Patti's expert tips were quite helpful. I am looking forward to trying this on my own. Great class!

This class was fantastic. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the teachings is very hands on. I left feeling confident that I could replicate the canning in my own home, by myself. Also, the salsa was delicious and I'm super jazzed to have a few jars saved for later.

Patti is a wonderful teacher! The salsa class was my second class with her and she did a great job of explaining the process for us "laymen" as well as walking us through all of the steps, from prep to finish. The price of the course is reasonable, especially since it includes all of the material and your own canned goods to take home. Many recipes were provided as well as other resources to find more recipes, explanations of canning, and ways to find supplies.

Patty leads a wonderful class, especially for beginners! She provided all of the materials and walked us through the cooking and canning process. She is also very knowledgeable about all things canning, so she was ready to answer all of the questions we had about sugars, acids, air bubbles, etc. I highly recommend taking one of Patty's classes because she insists you get your hands dirty (so to speak) and actually make the products instead of merely observing.

I had a lot of fun in this class! She keeps the class size small so you get more individual attention and also emphasizes how to do everything safely (gloves/goggles/masks etc). She has a lot of knowledge about all the different oils and which ones mix well (how they react with skin, how they foam up etc). We were given handouts to take with us with recipes/instructions so we can make our own in the future. I'm really excited to see the end result of my soap. The 6 week wait is going to feel like forever!

I thoroughly enjoyed this class! I learned a lot and I can't wait to use the soap I made. I look forward to creating more soap.
