Hello. I am an applied anthropologist with an eclectic background. In addition to earning a PhD in applied anthropology, I've been a US Marine, a small business owner, a health scientist, and a garden-variety prole (see Orwell's 1984 for that reference) with hand-memory experience of pickaxes, moving dollies, reach trucks, and other equipment used to do hard work for far too little money. The unifying theme of all these experiences is being open to the world as you find it, being highly adaptable, and learning how to tell the story of each thing and how it fits into the whole. I have college level teaching experience as an instructor in anthropology. I'm on dabble to take the opportunity to teach something about the way I've learned to see the world, how to help communities, and how to tell the story.
