Sound Chick Accessories Proprietor and Designer, Samantha Barrett-Rogers is a Columbia College, Chicago graduate with a BA in Sound Engineering major and a minor in Graphic Design. Samantha has spanned the gamut of the media industry with experience in Television and Film Production, Graphic and Web Design, Event Production, Promotions, and PR. Samantha designed Websites, Print Media, and Produced Launch Parties and Art Shows for her friends in the arts and in the entertainment business which helped to launch their ambitious and bright careers.

Samantha discovered her talent for jewelry design quite by accident while living in Brooklyn, NY. Having lost one of her favorite pieces of jewelry, a pair of a Single Duck feather earrings she attempted to re-create them. From this experience, she became engulfed in the creative spirit. Samantha began to design a plethora of feather accessories leading her to launch her own business: SoundChick Accessories. Her pieces have been sold in the following venues: The One of A Kind Show & Sale Chicago with Etsy, Made in Chicago by AIBI Pop up Store, The Illinois Artisan Shops at Chicago, IL, Southern, IL and Springfield, IL , Etsy.com, The Silver Room, City Soles, Gen Art Shop Chicago, Handmade Chicago, The Chicago Indie Designer Market and Stanley & Empress Boutique in Kingston, Jamaica.

SoundChick Accessories designs have been seen in UR Chicago Magazine, True Star Magazine, Clutch Magazine.com, The Examiner.com, Racked Chicago, Chicago Magazine Online, on TV One, BETJ, Fox News Chicago, WGN, WCIU-TV, Lucky Magazine and The Better TV Show. Samantha Barrett-Rogers Founded and instructed “Project Accessories” with “After School Matters, which conducted programs within CPS High Schools, and Various Charter Schools in Chicago, IL. Project Accessories teaches youth small business skills through fashion jewelry making, design, marketing, and product placement. Samantha is available for classes, workshops, jewelry & accessories parties for youth and adults.
