Claire Reynes and Sabina Duhr, two friends with a shared interest in slow afternoons with a cool project and snacks, began to marble together for fun, making colorful, swirling prints on paper. They quickly realized it was something they wanted to share with friends, family and strangers so they co-created Tempered.
Tempered is a small-batch, hand marbled label based in Chicago. Claire and Sabina print all of their marbled designs by hand on a variety of surfaces including canvas fabric, cotton tshirts, and Claire's handmade papers. Claire and Sabina love most when other people realize the magic of marbling and so Tempered now offers workshops and private marbling parties!

Kiersta W.Reviewed on 12/03/19We had such a great time at the marbling workshop! They were great at showing us different techniques and since it was a small class we got one on one instruction. We had enough time to make a lot of cards and even got to do a cute pouch at the end! We'd definitely do another workshop with Tempered!

This class was a fun event for my husband and I & we left with some nice paper at the end. Teacher was very effective but laid back. Class was byob so we enjoyed a beer while marbling. Overall great date night.

This class was so fun! You get to instantly see your creation come to life, and there's not really a learning curve - you just get started marbling and you get interesting results right away. Definitely something to try!
