Great class, great instructor!! Very informative. It made a subject I was interested in, but intimidated by, approachable. I started my first batch of kombucha the same week.

Overall I did enjoy myself. The instructors were pretty clear this was the largest class they had taught (usually taught smaller groups) and that they were still learning how to deal with such a large class. I enjoyed myself and I did like learning to use new tools, seeing the Green Exchange gardens, chickens and didn't mind some of the disruptions. Overall I had a good time!

These folks were lovely, and obviously knew what they were doing. The only hangup was the popularity of the class! There were so many people, the class went an hour longer than planned. But it was so very informative. The only major difficulty was bringing home my packing palette/planter home on the bus. Still awesome.

Overall I really enjoyed this class. It was really fun and interesting, we got lots of good tips on growing herbs and veggies, and we made really awesome planters. I thought going into it we would be getting more concrete tips on success with growing herbs indoors, instead it was some more general growing tips and we learned about starting seeds in newspaper planters, so while it wasn't exactly what I expected I still felt like it was very worthwhile and we went home with a planter and some seedlings in newspaper planters. The instructors are great! They were all really nice and had a lot of knowledge to share, they also made the class entertaining. They are running a very cool organization in a very cool space, and that added to the experience getting to see that and learn about what they do. The class could have been a little better organized, we ran an hour over scheduled time, but it was also their first time doing the class with such a large group so I'm sure by next time they'll have worked out the kinks. I would definitely recommend the class to anyone interested in urban gardening. Tip: you do get hands on so wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty.

Left class feeling more confident in ability to grow plants. Came home looking forward to experimenting and having more greenery in my life.

I really enjoyed the class, the instructor and the other people who attended!
It was very informative and it was fun and interesting to have the opportunity to see a chicken coop and interact with the chickens. Definitely recommend it , if you are thinking of raising your own.

I am somewhat new to yoga and this class completely inspired me. I look forward to taking more classes with Rebecca and would absolutely sign up for another Dabble class as well!

Enjoyed trying out this yoga class after a long absence. The venue was perfect for an event like this. The instructor was thoughtful and knowledgeable-made it achievable for all levels of ability. Would definitely do it again.

I enjoyed the class, it was a nice combination of Vinyasa flow and gentle poses. I think this was a good class for those who have familiarity with yoga practice. And aside from the room being a bit cold, I loved the location.

I very much enjoyed the workshop. The space is really great for yoga.

The class was well worth the price. Heather did an excellent job and was very informative. I came away from the class with the answer to the questions I had. Looking forward to the follow up classes Heather spoke of. Frank

This was a great summary of IP law basics, presented clearly with good examples to facilitate understanding for a layperson.

Excellent class if you want to know how to get your garden started here in the city.

Matthew and Victor were both very engaging and insightful. I really loved seeing Matthew's artwork prior to the class and hearing the back stories of his project and Victor's journey to write a book. They even fed us, which is above and beyond what I expected, and tied the idea of sharing a meal to their message. Well done!
Thank you for attending the class Cari and we are so glad you enjoyed the exhibit as well! We hope you will consider another class in the future!

Excellent class! Learned a lot. Seneca is a wonderful educator and very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and entertaining.
I would take another class with him even if not keen on the subject matter.

I was really excited about this class and went into it with the expectation of building an indoor herb garden... complete with herbs. What the class mainly consisted of was standing outside in the wind sawing wood and standing around without any protective eyewear. One girl even got a particle in her eye and had to spend the remainder of the class inside without finishing her pallet. The gardening part wasn't much better. The instructor had us create small pots out of newspaper. Newspaper decomposes. This would only work if the plants were going to be transplanted to the ground, therefore defeating the purpose of an indoor herb garden. Out of the selection of seeds available, only two were herbs. Overall, I got half of a wood pallet and two newspaper pots full of dirt and seeds that are going to decompose in my kitchen. I wouldn't recommend this class to a friend unless it was capped at 10 people and the process was more organized and safe for all of the participants.

While the instructors were all really nice, the class itself was unorganized and kind of dangerous. Most of the class was actually assembling the pallet instead of preparing an indoor herb garden. The assembly of our pallet gardens included using power tools with little to no instructions and no safety eyewear provided while we cut through wood with power saws outside on a windy day. My friend had a piece of wood fly into her eye and cut it. The class was supposed to go for an hour and a half, but because of how unorganized it was, and how the instructor dropped and broke one of the saws, we were there much much longer and had to leave before we finished because we had a time conflict (over an hour after the class was scheduled to end). The gardening segment of the class was us rolling up newspaper pots and then planting a couple seeds in them (not much variety of seeds, mostly lettuce), almost none of them being herbs. They would not work in our pallet garden and needed to be transplanted to an outdoor garden, so I am still confused as to what part of the class was teaching us about indoor herb gardening. The class probably would have been fine with half the people and with more safety instructions, but it was just a lot of sitting around waiting. I was really disappointed because I was hoping to learn a lot more than I did and I'm stuck with a pretty bad looking pallet garden that I'll have to finish on my own because of how late the class ran.
Thank you all for the feedback regarding the Indoor Herb Gardening class. All of your feedback is important and we are going to email the entire class to touch base on your comments. Thank you all again for the open and honest feedback.

I love taking Dabble classes, but this specific one did not go well. The instructors were not prepared for the size of the class, and didn't have a reasonable amount of tools so that things could be done in a timely manner. Additionally, power saws were utilized outside in the wind, and we were given no safety goggles. I am not normally a huge safety stickler, but my eye was cut pretty badly during this class, so I was unhappy. Lastly, it was frustrating that the class seemed as if it would be about learning how to do indoor herb gardening -- and it ended up being primarily about building the pallet to hold them.
