I really liked this class! I took it as a refresher so I can start hemming clothes, especially dresses myself. The teacher is very casual and easy to learn from. She's thorough explaining and demonstrating what she's doing/how to do something and gives helpful tips throughout the class to specify to what you want to do in the future. Classes are small so you get a lot of attention as you're learning too.

Marie was an excellent teacher! She was patient and did a good job of showing me what to do, then letting me do it. She was hospitable and I enjoyed talking to her in general. I had a wonderful experience and left feeling ready to tackle my own project.

Marie was awesome! I learned a lot during our 2-hour class. She focused on the things that I wanted to learn and shared her tips and tricks that make sewing easier. She paid close attention to the fact that I am a semi-beginner (I made a garment before but didn't like the result) and taught me well how to start from a pattern guide to creating patterns, how to deal in case there are issues encountered with a sewing machine, tools needed to make the job easy and sewing techniques to get better results. I'm happy to have taken this class and excited to start my next project..

This class is worth the money and then some! I don't even think people realize how much ill-fitting clothes they have and that with basic sewing skills you can make all your clothes fit you like they should! Marie is a patient, knowledgeable instructor and takes the time to find out what you want to learn so the classes are "tailored" (pun intended) to the group! Take this class - and look at your closet a whole new way :)
