Event Overview

 In this comprehensive weaving workshop, you will be introduced to the incredible world of frame loom weaving! You will learn the skills you need to create your own beautiful, woven wall hangings. Austin based designer Dréa will teach you all the steps from setting up your loom to finishing methods to hanging your art. You will leave the workshop with a complete wall hanging + the knowledge to continue creating. Dréa will also share her tried and true tips to prevent "curvy" wall hangings, tricks to avoid common beginner mistakes, and a list of her favorite weaving resources.

What's included: - All necessary materials , including: - warp thread, - your choice of weaving yarns, - tapestry needle, - wooden dowel, - a loom to use during the class or to take home with the upgrade, - Classroom instruction and one-on-one support to start and finish your wall hanging,
