Event Overview
An interactive Intro to Aromatherapy Class held at Activate 2016! The origin and production of Essential Oils is discussed along with their healing properties. Students will get a chance to sample oils, then create and take home a 1/2 oz. blend of Essential Oil. Learn different methods of integrating Aromatherapy into your everyday life. Leave with a deeper understanding of why plants produce aromatic compounds and how they can help us stay healthy.
Classes will run 45 minutes and start every hour from 5 - 8 pm.
What to Bring
Nothing, we will provide all materials.

Mr. Neenan received his certification from the Pacific Institute of Aromatherapy. He's been teaching Aromatherapy classes for 22 years in his tiny shop as well as throughout Chicagoland at Hospitals, Elmhurst College, CPS and several suburban Libraries. WLS dubbed him the "Johnny Appleseed of Essential Oils" because of his passion to spread the benefits we can derive from plants.
