Event Overview

Have you ever dreamed of being a professional ballet dancer but never had the chance? Well, if you're over the age of 20 and haven't started yet, I HATE to break it to you, but your days of gracing the stages of Paris in a tutu may have passed you by.

But don't give up all hope yet! This class for all adults who have ever dreamed of dancing but haven't ever got the chance or haven't done a pirouette or tendu since your were 5 years old!

In this 2 hour class we will be doing: a barre strengthening routine ,which is an amazing workout for strengthening your entire body, basic floor jumps and moves, and a short routine to showcase our amazing skills we learned at the end! Come to my Adult Ballet Workout and get a taste of the art of ballet and how much fun you can actually have while getting one of the best workouts possible.

(PS. Tutus / fun ballet wear are more than welcomed! In fact, if you wear one, you get a $5 discount on your first class!)

This was a fun class! The blend of yoga/pilates/ballet is perfect for me. Besides being able to stretch, I love to be able to move around and feel that I accomplished a "real" and physical workout. Laura is very approachable, and personable and has a knack for molding the lesson based upon her audience. She teaches "organically", teaching you the fundamentals you need based upon your background. Just based on that, she's great about making people comfortable.

As a guy, it's easy to get intimidated by ballet -- but I feel that I have learned a lot by being in just one class, and would love to be back fro more.
