Are you obsessed with Downton Abbey? Do you, in true Oscar Wilde fashion, have heated discussions with friends whether it is more fashionable to serve bread and butter or cake with tea? Do you wonder whether it is one lump or two?!
If the tradition of taking English high tea mystifies and excites you, I invite you to experience a slice of British culture, and have tea, scones, and tea sandwiches with us! *Note, this is high tea, not afternoon tea... :o)
In this class we will:
Learn to make traditional English sandwiches (and eat them, of course!)
Learn to make traditional scones.
Learn how to make (and drink) a proper cup of tea.
Eat and drink our delicious scones with homemade clotted cream and homemade jam, in a fabulous tea shop, LooseLeaf Lounge! I will be fielding any questions you have about English tea, teaching some basic etiquette, and there will be fresh, homemade clotted cream, lemon cheese, and homemade jam for sale!

What's Provided
Sandwiches will be provided, and we will be making scones to eat on-site! You'll also indulge in an unlimited amount of tea while you're here so you can find your favourite!
