The instructor was having a bad day, so the class started late. But it was the most fun I've had in a class! He taught us basics, then answered our questions on more advanced subject. I don't know why one review says they only got 2 drinks, we had 'practice time' for at least an hour and a half where we made all kinds of drinks and learned so much! Made new friends and am excited to take Mixology 102. Thanks for having such a fun, informative class!

My boyfriend and I enjoyed this class. The teacher was very knowledgeable but also very quirky and funny! The classroom setting could have been a little more aesthetically pleasing but it was functional-ish. It could have been better if we had a sink/running water to rinse out the mixers. Also, the materials fee is a little high considering we only actually make 1-2 drinks (with non premium alcohol).

great introduction to a wide range of drinks and how to get started making them.

This class was a fun primer on how to pour and the basics behind all of the drinks you might order from your average bar. The instructor has a great deal of knowledge from his decades of experience and the mix of history and humor made the time go by quickly. The class size was small, so it was a perfect way to learn without being self conscious. Would recommend!

Was an interesting class, Karl has over 45 years of bartending experience, and is very knowledgeable and entertaining. Gave me exactly what I wanted, a basic understanding of cocktails.

I walk in and there's a man with a colorful tie, a leather vest, and a smile on his face. It's Karl the teacher. He's been bartending for years, so not only is he an informative instructor, but he has some great stories to tell! I now know how to host a party and serve cocktails for my guests and picked up a fun skill.

We thoroughly enjoyed our instructor's personality, and we're glad to have gained some practical new skills! However, the setup was cumbersome and unsanitary, and our instructor's knowledge seemed a little outdated. If you're looking for an entertaining class that will teach you the very basics of how to mix a drink, this could be a good experience for you. Overall, the class was not what we expected for $120.

For starters, I’m almost positive the Dabble site did not mention the $25 materials fee prior to the date of the class, but upon arrival the instructor and building operators let us know. Obvsuously when I looked back at the dabble site the $25 fee was there, but there was no way for me to prove it wasn’t there when I originally signed up over a month ago. Anyway, the class was in one of the rooms around a table big enough for the 10 ppl in the class and the instructor at the head of the table. The instructor gave us bottles of alcohol with water in them to practice with and had minimal equipment that we all had to share for the duration of the class. He seemed very old school in his teaching methods/jokes, and a lot of the content could have been consolidated to save time. By the end of the class we made each other drinks with actual alcohol based on the recipe books he gave us, but I thought there should’ve been a lot more hands on work and less watching/listening to the instructor talk. $60 was a lot for that experience. Would’ve paid at most $40.
