Event Overview

It takes lesser folk three years and over $100,000 to acquaint themselves with the principles of law. Entrepreneurs are cut from a different cloth, though. They fight grizzly bears and eat spicy foods. It’s no wonder that the average entrepreneur can comprehend the entirety of settled jurisprudence in a mere two hours.

In this class, entrepreneurs and wannabe entrepreneurs will receive a quick and dirty lesson on the various areas of law they are or will be confronted with on a daily basis. Entity selection, partnership and shareholder agreements, leases, issues in employment, non-disclosure agreements, other contracts, tax issues and personal estate planning and asset protection issues will all be discussed. The class will be interactive with form agreements and provisions reviewed and discussed in class.

After the class, the Illinois Bar Exam will be given and anyone who doesn’t pass will get their money back (or the class will go for drinks and the teacher will answer questions).

So fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable teacher, went over an insane amount of material, but he highlighted the main points to be aware of. The material he handed out was very helpful and possibly invaluable (at least saved me hours of Google searching through crap to find decent, when this stuff was gold)

This was a great primer class for those who have some basic understanding of the different business structures. Clint did an excellent job making the information accessible and easy to digest. He gave a good framework and provided relevant and helpful tax forms, contracts and handouts.

For what can be somewhat dry material, the course was taught in a very engaging way. Clint provided a great balance between theory and practice and focused on very relevant material. He answered students' questions very effectively. Also also made great use of handouts.
