Event Overview

We all have those moments where city living takes its toll on us and we crave the freedom and adventure of the wild. Don't just let it be a thought! Take the initiative and learn the skills to get where you're going.

In this class students will learn about the various forms of maps, how to decipher and read landmarks and terrain on a topographic map and how to properly use a lensatic compass. The basics of plotting a course across varied landscapes and how to stay true to it.

The class will be both lecture and practical.
