Event Overview
Join Power Up Tech Academy for fun and flexible Winter Break Tech Camps for computer-savvy kids!
Each session of Tech Camp includes a hands-on, playful coding activity and a robotics activity. Kids will learn to make video games and other creative projects in Scratch, a kid-friendly language from MIT. Then we'll introduce robotics using Lego-compatible Edison robots. Kids who attend multiple sessions do new projects each time, building on their learning.
Coding builds awesome thinking skills - logic, planning, problem solving and more. It's also really creative and fun, since each child can customize the project in any way they can imagine!
