This is a two-day workshop on Friday, May 18th from 6 PM to 8:30 PM and again on Saturday, May 19th from 1 PM to 4 PM.

Come join other like-minded artists pausing to care for their creativity. Based upon the Open Studio Project process, connect intuitively through comment and judgment-free art making, breath regulation, and movement.
While art making, experience the relaxation response, a necessary step toward pausing in your busy life to care for your creativity and inner-artist. Everyone is born creative, spark your intuitive imagination, then witness your creative process blossom with Gretchen form Pausing to Care, a creative well-begin studio.

Gretchen is a self-care facilitator and multi-media artist who believes anyone can benefit from exploring the creative process in a relaxing, comment and judgment-free environment. Gretchen is an artist (BFA, MFA) guiding others through relaxation-response experiences, using easy to-do breath, movement, as well as art process activities using Open Studio Process (OSP). She has over 30 years of experience teaching across the lifespan (MAT), is a certified facilitator of OSP (www.openstudio.org), is a certified yoga instructor (http://yogakriya.org), and has extensive experience in Analytical Psychology (Two Year Certificate in Analytical Psychology, Jung Institute of Chicago, as well as Body/Soul training through the Marion Woodman Foundation).
