Event Overview
Grab that Arduino board you bought and come on in for a hands-on starter class. By the time the evening is over, you'll be doing all kinds of great things with the board!
The class covers the basics of electronics and how the Arduino board works. Then the building begins. Within minutes your first circuit will be working. By the end of the class all the pieces will come together to make something worth taking home.
Don't wait any longer to join the new hardware builder movement. Get on board with your Arduino board!

You must be comfortable with a computer and able to install the Arduino builder software.

MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST
The class will be taught by Kilton Hopkins. Kilton started programming computers when he was 8 years old. He started building electronics circuits at age 10. In middle school, the science fair opened a new "inventor award" category in order to accommodate his robotics entry.
It's good to understand the theory behind electronics, but it's better to actually build stuff. Kilton believes you should do both at the same time, so he tries to get everyone building stuff wherever he goes.
