Event Overview

Welcome to our cozy kitchen!
We’ll be making a delicious dinner together. Everyone roll up your sleeves!
We’ll spend the first part of class cooking and the last 30 minutes enjoying a family style dinner. 
We’ll be creating a special menu from Argentina!

We made these recipes with a group of families this winter and they were a hit and encouraged kids to try new foods, too!

Menu


Chicken & Pepper Empanadas + Black Bean & Cheese Empanadas
- we’ll make the empanada dough and the filling, roll out dough, cut out circles and fill and shape the empanadas before baking them.

Papas con Chimichurri - roasted potatoes with a herb/ garlic sauce
- we will cut the potatoes, work with fresh herbs and garlic to create a sauce and dress the roasted potatoes for serving.

Argentine Salad with Hearts of Palm and Cilantro Vinaigrette
- we will make a fresh tossed salad and learn the basics of making a classic vinaigrette with a twist.

Alfajores - sugar cookies sandwiched together with dulce de leche

- kids will roll out cookie dough, cut circles and bake them before we layer them with dulce de leche and dust them with powdered sugar.

Prerequisites

Please register for each person in your group over 4 years old. Location is easily accessible by Green Line and has easy on-street parking.

We provide all materials and ingredients for the class.
