From bird seed to bird feeders, bird houses to bird baths, we have all of the items you need to make your yard, school yard or green space bird friendly. Trying to engage your children in nature learning? We have a special kids’ section as well as children’s nature books. Going on a birding hike? We have great items for your expedition including binoculars and guidebooks. Many of our items are made in the USA with some made locally. We also carry locally made artisan items such as jewelry and candles.
Did you know watching backyard birds can lower anxiety and stress? Studies have shown bird watching can encourage communication skills, lift spirits and lower blood pressure. The Wildbird Shack is happy to host your community event. We can put together educational programs about backyard birding or birding in our preserves. We also host Style Your Own Bird House Events where guests craft their own bird houses. You can also reserve a private bird house event with us.
