Event Overview

Nothing says "I love you!" more than beautiful romantic flowers that last forever. Like my mother always reminds me, "The flowers you gave me are still blooming!" Learn to make your own magical forever paper flower from a variety of mediums: tissue paper, coffee filters, and other paper-like materials.

We'll meet at WasteShed Chicigo and teach you techniques to make paper flowers, and you'll be leaving with a beautiful bouquet that YOU MADE and can give to a loved one for Valentine's day (or any other day!)

You'll learn how to make tissue paper flowers, coffee filter flowers, and book paper flowers. It will be a cool lesson in UPCYCLING because all the craft materials that you could ever need already exists.

I am an aficionado in re-using materials to make crafts. I have made paper flower bouquets for not ONE, but TWO weddings, and I have dabbled in etsy stuff a bunch. I recently ran a Kickstarter campaign for notebooks that I made out of packing paper and other recycled/discarded materials. I like see garbage as craft materials, and enjoy using materials in bizarre uses to make something that wouldn't normally be made out of that material.
