ABOUT THIS EVENT

Event Overview

Alison will teach you the basics of crochet and illustrate how easy and fast you can knock out projects. It's incredibly satisfying! We'll cover how to get started, specifically, a few simple stitches and how to properly finish your projects.

She will bring all the gear, including the yarn and crochet hooks, though feel free to bring your own materials. Once you learn the basics, we can start and finish a project: a beverage coozy. You'll leave with something to keep your drink cold (or hot) as well as all the knowledge you'll need to get started crocheting.

This class is BYOB.

MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST

Alison finds it's way easier to learn a craft from a human, opposed to a book or website. She learned crochet from a friend and have since taught many more. Alison works as a painting instructor for Colors & Bottles, so she's borderline professional at art instruction.
