Event Overview
The Procrastinator's Guide to Opening a Business series, is aimed at the beginner and curious entrepreneurs. Its goal is to set time frames, schedules and project management skills in order to tackle each section of a business plan.
You’re only one person. Do you have partners? Yea, you can do every single layer of your new business, but it’s probably best you don’t learn how to program to build that app or try to read through the 20 pages of that lease that you can pay a lawyer.
Things you’ll leave with:
• Identify key players in your business, background and roles
• Find out what other employees, consultants and staff needed to make your business run smoothly
• Create a mock staff schedule and operation hours
• Schedule out the days to successfully complete this section

MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST
An experienced entrepreneur, Lester Palmiano began his career at age 18 from clerk to commodities manager. Since then he has owned two small businesses - a Lakeview tea lounge, and a North side dog day care service. In addition to owning these businesses, he was responsible for building them from the ground up, creating business plans and strategies, managing them, and aiding in their transition to new owners. Discovering his passion for teaching from his popular tea tastings and classes at the tea lounge, coupled with over 10 years of business knowledge, he recently created the consulting firm: akala Business Consulting.
