Event Overview

You don’t wear white after Labor Day. You knew when and when not to wear polyester. And you can quote the April 2004 issue of Vogue. No doubt you live and breathe fashion. You’ve been crowned the “go-to” style expert for all your friends – male, female, gay, straight, tall, short.
If only people could flock to your blog and editorial content in the same way.

In this class, Dabblers will learn how to deliver up-to-the moment fashion advice and newsworthy fashion information to your readers. Bloggers blogging on any topic can take and benefit from this class, though it will have a fashion focus.

Learn how to publish at a fast pace, and get the most clicks and read-throughs possible. Learn the anatomy of a blog post from headline to kicker, and find out what you need to focus on and what you can ignore. We will touch on images and SEO briefly, but the main focus will be about actually writing for an audience.

Reviews for Past Classes:

"I think it was great to have someone who's made a name for themselves in the subject they were teaching. I also loved that Shani was so well prepared and had handouts for us - I'm still going to back to reference her notes frequently! I also loved that she left lots of time for questions."

"The instructor was open, approachable, accessible and well-spoken. She handled the questions from the group extremely well!"

"Shani Silver was the highlight of the class. She was a wealth of knowledge and was very forthcoming with information."
