Event Overview
Spring is blooming and we're all digging out those fabulous clothes we haven't seen this winter! Then you realize that amazing dress you bought last season on clearance is too long! Your favorite blazer is missing a button, You find this amazing new top at the store and it's just a little to big in the waist. Arg! What do you do? Take our introductory sewing class & learn simple mending stitches, hemming/altering garments, as well as adjusting garments to fit you!
Why spend the time & money taking it to someone else when you can do it yourself and have the knowledge to continue to mend & alter your own clothes. This class is for the ladies & gents that want to do it themselves and just need a little guidance.
Classes consist of basic knowledge of hand sewing, measuring, proper care & repair garments. Needles & thread will be provided. All you need to bring are the garments you have been meaning to take to the tailors. Bring 1-3 garments to get done in class!
