Event Overview
Just in time for your spring and summer tablescapes! This workshop will take a contemporary twist on the typical floral displays. We will incorporate seasonal colors and make a modern centerpiece that's fresh and stylish. You will learn how to arrange a unique centerpiece using simple easy to find botanicals and other commonly found elements.
This is a great workshop for the novice floral designer. In this class we will cover basic floral designing techniques as well as tips for preparing and caring for fresh flowers. Everyone will take home a beautiful fresh floral piece. Included in class is a workbook with valuable information, tips and resources.
Workshop is approximately 2 1/2 hours long.
Location: Private Residence in Elk Grove Village.

Alice Nielsen is the stylist and founder behind Styled-It, Inc. She's passionate about styling parties, interior designing and entertaining. She started her design career over 20 years ago as owner/partner of Floral Affairs Inc., a floral boutique in Chicago. Alice has also been styling and coordinating private events for over 20 years. She has worked as an executive in the hospitality industry for over 20 years in luxury hotels in the Chicago market.
In addition to her creativity and design talent, Alice brings a wealth of professional business savvy to the table as well! As an instructor Alice combines her sense of style with substance.
