Event Overview

All of us want to have those stunning magazine-worthy party tables, but few of us know how to pull it all together. We will create a beautiful Spring Tablescape perfect for an afternoon brunch, shower or a Mother's Day lunch! At Styled-It, we simplify the process by teaching you tips and techniques used by professionals to create beautiful tabelscapes for real parties and gorgeous photo shoots.

Our workshops focus on three main elements, style, theme and budget. After this class you will no longer have the need to hire expensive caterers, florist or event planners. This class will take you from the planning stages to the actual tablescape including centerpieces and party favors!

All classes are hands on, interactive and fun and all attendees will have an active role in creating the event. Class participants will receive a workbook with resources and valuable information.

Alice Nielsen is the stylist and founder behind Styled-It, Inc. She's passionate about styling parties, interior designing and entertaining. She started her design career over 20 years ago as owner/partner of Floral Affairs Inc., a floral boutique in Chicago. Alice has also been styling and coordinating private events for over 20 years. She has worked as an executive in the hospitality industry for over 20 years in luxury hotels in the Chicago market. In addition to her creativity and design talent, Alice brings a wealth of professional business savvy to the table as well! As an instructor Alice combines her sense of style with substance.
