Event Overview

Improve your muscular balance, strength and flexibility. Have fun and build a strong foundation for your training.

In this class, I'll share 8 mini-exercise series that you can easily add onto your running routine with very little equipment. I'll explain the reason for each series along with a demo. We'll also take some time to practice as a group.

As runners, we often take time for our run and don't always make time for strengthening and stretching/releasing. You can expect to come away with strategies so that these exercises become an essential part of your routine. You'll also walk away with cards that provide a clear description of the exercise series so that you can do them on your own.

When we strengthen our core, improve our muscular balance and strengthen the smaller, intrinsic muscles we’re better equipped to maintain proper running form. When we’re able to run more efficiently, we use less energy. When we use less energy, we can run faster and longer more easily.

As Arthur Lydiard would say, “Train. Don’t strain.”
