Event Overview

Have you heard of “Geocaching,” but don’t know how to start?
Or maybe you've looked for a geocache, but haven't found it?
Did your GPS tell you to walk into a lake?

Geocaching is the search for hidden treasure that can take you all over the world, or as close as the park down the street.

In the first half of this class, we’ll talk all about Geocaching - its history, what apps or GPSes are best, and how to start. You’ll learn about how to search for, find, and log your first geocache.

Then, we’ll venture outside to find three nearby geocaches!

This class is for folks who love adventure - sometimes in your own back yard - and are looking to sleuth it out like a pro!

What to Bring

If you have a GPS, please bring it. Wear a pair of comfortable shoes and dress for the weather, as we’ll be walking outside.

All ages welcome

What's Provided

You’ll leave with trinkets to put into the next geocache you find!
