This chord-based approach is not only refreshing to the baffled student seeking a pattern in the matrix, it's the direct route to making music theory sound musical. Each class will improve your navigation of the fretboard, demystify those weird chords, and help your solos sound more inspired than perspired.
This is a 10-week series that will meet every Wednesday @ 7pm from March 28 thru May 30
Registration fee includes all 10 classes.

MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST
I've loved music and been eager to express it in whatever way for as long as I can remember. My first big musical impressions were the R&B, pop, and country records laying around the house when I was a kid and continue to be stylistic themes in a lot of what I do musically and in the classroom.
My first real instrument was drum kit at 6 years old and, tho I started focusing on guitar at 7, that strong rhythmic urge greatly informs my guitar technique and songwriting.
I've taught professionally since 1995 and have developed a chord-based music teaching style that caters to the desired direction of an individual or class while building a good and usable theory/fretboard structure.
I am currently teaching at Classes on Clark Monday through Thursday, offering private lessons Saturday through Thursday, enjoying my 19th year of teaching at The Old Town School Of Folk Music, recording constantly, and am a member of the band VandaBobs.
