Event Overview

Do you struggle with weight loss or unhealthy eating, compulsive eating, binging or restricting? Diets and weight loss programs fail because they alienate you from the intelligent signals your body gives you; signals that let you know when you are full or hungry, signals that promote healthy eating.

Improve your relationship with food so that eating can become a source of pleasure and wellness rather than a source of frustration.

You will learn techniques to help you become more aware of your body’s needs and be fully present while eating. You will learn to truly taste, experience and enjoy your food so you feel satisfied after eating. Once you learn to eat mindfully it will actually become difficult to binge or to overeat as a response to stress or feelings.

MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST

Jennifer is a psychologist turned yoga instructor who uses her training in both areas to promote wellness through integrated mind/body practices. She is currently teaching yoga and mindfulness practices to adults and teens in yoga studios, wellness centers, and schools throughout the Chicago area. When she is not teaching she can be found practicing yoga, hanging out with her kids, playing with her dog or strumming her guitar and singing loudly to whoever might be around to listen.
