Event Overview

It won't be long until the rolling hills of Chicagoland are blanketed with snow.

Sign your child up for our hands-on wooden sled building workshop and make sure they are ready for the snow with an awesome custom sled they will make from scratch. We will start by measuring and drawing sleds we know, we will teach some basic shop techniques, and then kid's will design and build there own version. Hand tools, simple power tools and a bunch of creativity will be employed to cut, assemble, sand and finish the next "rosebud". Students ages 7 and up can work on their own or with a parent in this 3 hour workshop at the Bit Space Maker Lab.
