U-could-lele: An Intro to the Uke
7 Have Dabbled
Arts & DIY
An instrument that has made a resurgence from its pre-World War II days, the ukulele is a force to be reckoned with. An alternative to the guitar for less than $75? Many are nodding their heads “yes.” No longer associated with its Hawaiian or bluegrass origins, the ukulele is a charming, catchy sound that many are picking up and even more are learning to appreciate.
This class will introduce Dabblers to the basics of playing the ukulele. No previous experience necessary.
Dabblers will learn basic chords that can be used to play countless songs, as well as how to tune their ukuleles to keep them fresh and ever ready for guests’ requests to play a tune.
