Event Overview

This class is not your average case of paint by numbers.

We'll be wielding our brushes and palettes in this crash-course acrylic painting class. Learn about invaluable artist tricks of the trade, including: application techniques, color mixing, creating texture, various painting materials (brushes/canvas/ect), prep and clean-up and using unconventional objects both in your painting and as a painting surface.

Then we'll roll up our sleeves and practice what Leilani preaches, and all students will walk away with a host of tips and tricks and a good start to discovering their inner Bob Ross.

Leilani Frey is a graduate of Columbia College Chicago with a B.A. in Art & Design with a concentration on painting. Leilani maintains a passion for drawing, painting and design, and specializes in creating "outside the box" techniques to achieve a desired effect on a variety of painting surfaces and found objects. Leilani is excited to share her working knowledge of painting with curious folks who'd like to Dabble in the fine arts.
